Why ADHD Coaching

ADHD coaching is a beneficial resource for individuals looking to navigate challenges associated with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. Coaches provide personalized support, strategies, and accountability tailored to the unique strengths and struggles of each client. Through regular sessions, individuals can learn effective time management techniques, organization skills, and ways to improve focus and productivity. Coaches also help clients cultivate self-awareness, set realistic goals, and develop sustainable habits to thrive in various aspects of life. With the guidance of an ADHD coach, individuals can gain the skills and confidence needed to overcome obstacles, enhance their daily functioning, and reach their full potential.

  2. Answer the questionnaire

  3. Add date/time to your calendar

  4. Check your email for your Zoom link

How many sessions should I book?

One of the primary reasons for the initial Strategy & Planning session is to determine your specific circumstances and understand what you wish to address with coaching. Best practice and historical evidence indicate that clients report the best outcome with 12-weeks of ongoing coaching. However, I subscribe to the belief that each client and each issue are unique and one size does not fit all. I offer packages for monthly coaching that includes accountability mentoring, as well as discounts for purchasing monthly or quarterly packages and pre-paying.

What are your payment options?

Sessions must be paid in advance of coaching.

  • Pay as you go

  • Packages (Monthly, Quarterly, Create your Own)

What does Monthly Mentoring entail?

Mentoring consists of 4 weekly 15-minute check in calls/video calls, and 4 reminders per month. Similarly to coaching, the client sets the agenda and clarifies what they want to address. We agree on a to-to list and talk through progress, barriers, opportunities, and support seeking. My check-ins are tailored to the client. Reminders can be emails, texts, or instant messages.

What about confidentiality?

All information between coach & client is confidential unless otherwise specified by you in writing or if I am required by law. As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) you can rest assured that I abide by their ethical guidelines and regulations.

What happens in between sessions?

In between our appointments is when a lot of the coaching work happens. You will be working on actions to move them forward to your goals. Progress is part of the work we focus on in the coaching. Coaching recognizes that you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole.  The greatest indicators of success are your commitment to the following: the coaching process; becoming fully aware of their circumstances, strengths, skills, support and challenges; and your willingness to use strengths, skills and support (and or to learn new ones) to propel yourself towards your goals.

I welcome “update emails” in between appointments to let me know how progress is going with that week's goals. This communication between the sessions will provide an opportunity to update me on such things as academics, celebrate good news, and any other information appropriate for coaching.

What can I do to get the most out of coaching?

  • Understand that the key to accomplishing your goals is open and honest communication between you and the coach

  • Coaching, learning & growth are doing step by step and at a different pace for each individual.

  • Growth is not always linear

  • Remember that change takes time. The changes and solutions will take time to create, practice and solidify.

  • Practice self-reflection and come to coaching ready to dig in!
